General

  • Eligibility: DJs must be at least 16 years old, and clients must be at least 18 years old to create accounts and use the platform.

  • Registration: Initial registration requires a first name and email address. The onboarding process collects further details such as date of birth, phone number, last name, event preferences, areas of service, primary display location, and average rates.

  • Communication: All communication between DJs and clients must occur exclusively on the DJfindr platform. Attempts to move conversations or payments outside the platform will result in account strikes, leading to suspension upon accumulation of three strikes.

  • Content Ownership: All media or creative content uploaded by DJs must be owned by them and free of copyright or trademark violations. DJs assume full liability for any content they post.

Dispute Resolution

Dispute Mechanisms Disputes are resolved by reviewing the platform's policies, event offer terms, event-related documents, and message threads. DJfindr can only mediate disputes that occurred on-platform. Any communication or payments conducted outside the platform are considered a breach of the Usage Agreement and cannot be reviewed. DJfindr provides analysis and decisions based on documented evidence and reserves the right to determine the outcome of disputes.

Liability DJfindr acts as a facilitator, connecting DJs and clients. Users are responsible for their own conduct, communication, and performance. DJfindr disclaims liability for actions outside the platform.

Enforcement

Policy Violations Violations of platform policies, such as off-platform communication or content misuse, result in account strikes. Upon receiving three strikes, accounts are restricted, and access is disabled. Serious violations, such as breaches of contracts or unlawful activities, may be pursued legally.

Appeals Restricted users may appeal account suspensions by contacting [email protected]. Appeals are reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and DJfindr reserves the right to make the final decision.

Additional Features and Considerations

Ratings and Reviews Clients can post reviews for DJs after events are completed. Reviews are tied to verified events to ensure authenticity and cannot be imported or synced from external services. Fraudulent or fake reviews are strictly prohibited and subject to removal.

Insurance or Guarantees While DJfindr does not offer guarantees or insurance, some DJs may carry a "GigGuard" badge, indicating manual vetting by the platform. This badge signifies a commitment to high service standards but is not an assurance of performance.
